Sevika Sangam

Shakha Suvishesha Sevika sangham works in line with the mission of Marthoma Suvishesha Sevika Sangham, which was formed with a greater vision of involving women of Marthoma Sabha in the service and evangelism to glorify God’s Kingdom. Apart from empowering women spiritually, we also undertake various socially committed programmes keeping in mind the need of our fellow beings. Bible study, intercessory prayer and annual retreat are organised to strengthen the members spiritually. We extend financial support for educational, medical, housing and marriage aid (whenever applicable) every year. Sevika Sangham keenly support and partake in various church activities. Every woman of our church who are above 18 years are the members of the parish sevika sangham, we have 92 registered members at present. We meet every second and fourth Saturdays of the month at 4 p.m. Our vicar, Rev. Shaiju P. John, who is the President of our parish sevika sangham leads us with his strong vision and commitment. Our sevika sangham is blessed with dedicated and prayerful members from the time it came into existence.
